  11.        _S_o_f_t_w_a_r_e _I_n_s_t_a_l_l_a_t_i_o_n _G_u_i_d_e.  The information listed here is

  13.        Guide to install this product.

  28.        This section lists the subsystems (and their sizes) of
  29.        ns_certificate.

  31.        If you are installing this product for the first time, the
  32.        subsystems marked ``default'' are the ones that are
  33.        installed if you use the ``go'' menu item.  To install a
  34.        different set of subsystems, use the ``install,''
  35.        ``remove,'' ``keep,'' and ``step'' commands in _i_n_s_t to
  36.        customize the list of subsystems to be installed, then
  37.        select the ``go'' menu item.

  87.        _N_s__c_e_r_t_i_f_i_c_a_t_e is installed under /_u_s_r/_n_e_t_s_c_a_p_e/_c_m_s. These
  88.        files are the those shipped in the original Netscape
  89.        product. To install the working files in the correct system
  90.        configuration, the setup program /_u_s_r/_n_e_t_s_c_a_p_e/_c_m_s/_n_s-_s_e_t_u_p
  91.        must be run. This program decrypts the files under
  92.        /usr/netscape/cms. These newly installed files are NNNNOOOOTTTT
  93.        listed by _vvvv_eeee_rrrr_ssss_iiii_oooo_nnnn_ssss.

  95.        Due to the nature of this product, we are not shipping this
  96.        software pre-installed as it is the case of the other
  97.        Netscape Servers. The configuration of the server requires
  98.        you to specify many passwords that we cannot create with
  99.        default values. Also, please note that the product comes
  100.        with its own Netscape Admnistration Server 2.13 and is not
  101.        compatible with previous versions of the Administration
  102.        Servers. It is _s_t_r_o_n_g_l_y _r_e_c_o_m_m_e_n_d_e_d that you do not install
  103.        this server in the usual /usr/ns-home/ directory structure.

  105.        The Certificate Server includes an Informix database in the
  106.        distribution. You need to run the INFORMIX.SH script as root
  107.        to setup this database _B_E_F_O_R_E running the decrypted ns-setup
  108.        program. See detailed Informix information below.
  109.        IMPORTANT: when you specify the location for the Informix
  110.        database, please verify you do not overwrite the /usr/ns-
  111.        home/informix directory used by the LiveWire Pro product. An
  112.        example for the directory name would be /usr/ns-
  113.        cms/informix-cms
  114.  
  115.        Once the Informix Server is properly configured and
  116.        installed, you can then proceed to run the
  117.        /usr/netscape/cms/ns-setup to install the Netscape files.
  118.        Finally, the files under /usr/netscape/cms may be removed.
  119.        This will free up nearly 60 megabytes of disk space.

  143.        Because the Certificate Server Informix database must run as
  144.        user and group _i_n_f_o_r_m_i_x, you should, before configuring
  145.        Cerificate Server, create a user _i_n_f_o_r_m_i_x and a group
